KOORIE HERITAGE TRUST
This project represents a significant transformation, relocating a pivotal Indigenous institution – the Koorie Heritage Trust – to the cultural epicenter of Melbourne, Federation Square. The new facilities prominently display an extensive collection, enhancing cultural pride, identity, and exchange with a commitment to reconciliation, celebrating the enduring legacy of the world’s oldest continuing culture.

Located by the banks of the Yarra river in Melbourne, the Koorie Heritage Trust creates a stand-alone First Nations arts and cultural centre – a first of its kind in an Australian capital city. From wall panelling to curved niche, movable walls to banquette seats, display shelves to kitchenettes, we poured our expertise into every aspect of the project.
